What is GUID?

I have been asked recently about what are the odds that two GUIDs are going to be duplicated. So I started my research and I found this cool sentence in the COM specification: 

As an illustration of how unique GUIDs are consider that one could generate 10 million GUIDs a second until the year 5770 AD and each one would be unique.

How cool is that :-)

Managed Camera API for HTC devices

Neil Cowburn just posted a managed Camera API for HTC devices like my QTek8080. I tried the sample application only and it is working. Although it does something really weird. After taking an image it changes the color depth somehow and the screen looks really weird.

Also running the second time it made my smartphone restarted.
Anyway big kudfos to the author. I think this is really great.
